Add AIS layer for vessel tracking

Can you add an AIS layer to track boats at sea? See the app “marine traffic.”

It would be nice to be able to see vessel positions overlaid on the wind/wave layers.

@EmilyW I came here looking for the same feature- it could be very handy! Alternatively, I have my own vessel tracking data, it would be great to be able to import it and animate the tracking and the weather data in the same time.

You can play displaying your tracking files with the Uploader in the browser version.
