Incorrect Radar Rendering Over Southern UK
-
Hi
This issue happens almost daily. Today twice daily. A radar site is displaying echoes when there is no precipitation. this is not an issue with the radar itself as other radar apps don't have this issue so it's a rendering issue with Windys radar.
I'll attach a couple of examples below. First around 09:45 this morning
Here Windy is incorrectly displaying precip between Bristol and Southampton.
Using another app you can see there was no precipitation happening (the time is displayed at the bottom here)Later today some precipitation was moving in from the SW. Here is Windys image
Again the same area is showing false echoes.
This is an image from another app where it displays correctly.
Obviously it's an issue by the looks of it with just one radars data well the way Windy displays it as I've shown no other apps have this issue.

@uktim32 Hi, can you please provide further info about tha app that you compare with Windy? We get data from UK Met Office and it looks same now.
