With enhanced energy models in the future, stable historical weather data will be important- why will windy not provide historical data to premium users ?

@Pat-Tierney Hi, I am not sure about one specific reason, however, I think that we don't want to offer forecasted data from the past. We offer observed data from stations as well as satellite and radar layers. These data are based on real observation, so the use can visit the app and check real situations a year ago with those two.
However, in the weather forecasting, we provide results of numerical models and they are not 100% correct, so they can't be considered as serious results in the past, because nobody remembers certain conditions that could be real a year ago and that can affect that forecast of one or another model.
