wind direction by coordinates

What specific features or functionalities do you envision for the new alert system that allows users to define wind direction in degrees, and how do you think this would improve accuracy compared to the current quadrant method?

To clarify your demand, I guess you refer to polar coordinates of wind vector (speed, direction). But in the Alert wind speed and wind direction should be 2 separate conditions.
More simpler I imagine you just want the wind direction condition to be expressed in degrees instead of in cardinal directions (N, NE, E, SE…)
However I don't think it would be possible to specify the direction to the nearest degree if that's what you wanted.
