forecast refresh rates and forecast quality

I have the impression that the forecast update refresh rates become longer and longer. Hence, the quality of the forecast often simply becomes ridiculous.
Also, I have the impression that adding more and more different forecast models is just intended to make users go through all these models and forecasts, just that it becomes more likely that the local weather situation fits into one of the forecast models.

@gb_27 HI, if you talk about those refresh rates, do you have any specific model on your mind?

I see that very often at the ECMWF model, but also with other models in Windy.
With the ECMWF, it indicates sometimes "Updated: 8hrs ago", which I find ridiculous, asking myself why I am paying for this.Not sure why ECMWF is intended to be the default model, when the refresh rates and weather forecast often is so different to the actual local weather. As I said, the other models are often similar bad with refresh rates, or with forecast. And, as I wrote, with all your models to chose from, you might always find one which might be just accurate enough to believe in the application. Unfortunately, you dont know beforehand what model you should look into or rely on. I work in an air traffic control centre and I know that our air traffic controllers used to also check weather on Windy, not sure whether they still do so.
For now, I will continue to look into the refresh and forecast quality; however, I am not sure whether I will renew my subscription next time.

@tomitosz It is difficult to tell you this, to be honest. I would recommend using Compare models function to get the bigger picture about the situation and then you can make your opinion about this.

..and again, apart from the temperature the weather indication for this moment and the coming 8 hours is completely wrong, even despite a refresh just a bit morre than an hour ago

Thank you! I also find the accuracy of the widget (using the "best" model for me) concerning. It doesn't show rain at all, when it will obviously rain.
Like you I do not see a reason to move forward with Windy Premium or even Windy as I gave Windy the benefit of the doubt last year with the UI change... it's been a year and it's only gotten worse/stagnated in some areas.
