How can we help, this is really annoying, Meteored has the data, maybe they can help?

Weather radar coverage has been partially restored with data feed from Meteored. Thank You again @Ponyo-Nauta for pointing us into right direction.

@Filip_K well so the solution come from outside our country and SMN.

Yesterday noticed some linear artifacts like echos forming rectangles. Later I noticed that those lines matched with zones with special alerts for severe weather. I think that the new source is picking lines from the short term alert system and interpreting those lines as radar echoes. Probably not fixable on your side because it's already in the data.

Don't get me wrong I more than happy. Just wanted to share my discovery because it could be helpful.

If you are talking about the “long spikes” shown in the screenshot from @Matías-Tadeo-Rossi, these are due to interferences by WiFi sources.
Nothing to do with alert system.
These spikes appear when DFS of RLAN-WiFi equipment is not correctly operating :

Weather Radar data is not showing up for a whole country I-e Pakistan. We want to buy Windy API and integrate it with our web application. However, some part of Pakistan shows no data while other is simply greyed out.

Our platform is also used in some parts of Africa and there is not radar data for that. Wondering if that is a bug or Windy does not serve those regions?

Hi @Usama-Maqsood-2, for Pakistan, our only source was PMD. It seems there have been recently some changes on their web site and radar data are no longer publicly available.
I'll try to contact them to see if we can get access to the data again.

For Africa, there is currently no source of radar data that I am aware of. If You know of any, feel free to let me know and we will see what we can do about it.

Hi, I’ve noticed the radar data is still missing. At the moment I’m using Windy and RainAlarm in another tab, since several other apps already show the radar data for Argentina.
Do you know if a solution is on the way?

@filip_k Hi! Thanks for the effort you’ve put into making this work. Much appreciated. It looks like the issue might be related to scraping? which could have broken if the source changed. Do you think it would make sense to reach out to the data providers (SMN or Meteored) to explore a more reliable, structured way to access the data, perhaps via an agreement or official feed?

Hi @Ponyo-Nauta, yes, exactly. I tried reaching SMN multiple times. Never got decent reply, unfortunately.

@Filip_K I was told that SMN is being restructured by Argentina’s new government, and we can only expect the quality of its services to decline.

Meteored has clean radar tiles—do you need to license them in order to use them?
