Hello ,
the vendee globe wheater forecast is not using a Windy pluggin, it's a platform that is used by Christian Dumard and his society that developpe this platform,
they will probably change soon to use tools branded Vendee Globe .
i'm not allowed to give you the FTP login and password to find the positions of boats , but i'm sure some geek will quickly find out a way to display the tracks of boats and also display the routing projection with forecast associated ,40 boats and 40 polar boat speed ..., some boat are with foils some without ,
the next week with small wind to reach ZICC is very interesting and very slow ,
and the lack of trade wind until south cape verde island is the main reason . -
@Gerald-Veniard In the end, can somebody bring the plug in back?

If you read the post I referenced above, I didn’t say that Christian Dumard was using a Windy plugin. MWI created a platform presented under the Cartography tab on the Vendée Globe website. But as they said, the weather data provided on this platform (wind, gusts, waves, etc.) is data from Windy.

They have developed a plugin displaying the position of the boats and their track and ECWMF or GFS forecasts.
Then they have added a routing feature (Adrena)
At least they mention and show the Windy name and logo. -
On this YouTube video Chris Pratt said the skippers use Windy a lot on board as they are all equipped with broadband internet connection.

in the video, Chris Pratt says the name of the API is "Gradian" or "Gradient" maybe?

Hi all,
I'm waiting for the administrators' approval for the version 2024 of the plugin I worked on 4 years ago. Because of the changes made by Windy on the plugin system since then, it is not yet as advance as last time, but I'm will try to improve it on a regular basis :)

@Paspox Windy's admins need to validate its publication, until then you can load it with this url https://windy-plugins.com/2427993/windy-plugin-regadata-tracker/1.0.2/plugin.min.js

unfortunately this is not ideal as I will update the plugin regularly and its url will change on every new version published :/

@Paspox the plugin has been validated and published, you will find it in the list of plugins.

Is the Report date in UTC time ? Or at local time of the user in Windy?
