2024 Vendee Globe Yacht Tracking

Thanks for sharing your great plugins to track the vendee globe within windy, @kbsali and @seb12345.

If I remember correctly, the plugin 4 years ago had a weather routing feature - which I found really interesting and really improved the way I could follow the vendee globe. Is anything planned in this direction or does anyone know how you could get access to something similar?

@pandanade Not sure that is what you're after but on the Initiatives Coeur website (Sam Davies) you can click on the "Routages" button (top left) and it'll show routings for all the boats.

A new version has been published this morning with a much improved UX/UI

It is fine to see the boats with foils and the ones without.

Just a small glitch. With the previous version, it was possible for me to get your plugin on iPad with the browser version. Now I no longer have the current ranking. But it ok on desktop.

I suggest that you change the text in French to English if possible. I guess there are many Windy users following this race but not speaking French.
Including nds in French meaning kt (knot) in English.

To get the new version of this plugin, it is necessary to delete the previous one (the small bin) and load the new one.

Hi,

When you activate the plugin on the Stellite view it switches automatically on Wind view;
Any idea on how to get the plugin on overlay of any view ?

I think distances should be displayed in "nm" though (now it's "kt")

It looks like you added routing paths?
This is good for the first boats but less clear for later boats.

@idefix37 yes we have (it is 2 of us working on the plugin :)), what would you suggest?
When you select/highlight a boat, its routing path gets more opacity
