Make it so that the most recent weather models remain available while sailing away from cellphone coverage! For for 12-24-36-48 hours at least!? Preferabele multiple models like ecmwf and gfs. Might be great to look at pocketgrib!? Or am i overlooking a feature?

      Greetings, Ed

@edlonnee Unfortunately, this is not possible or even planned at the moment. I am sorry about that.

If you are using a tablet or a laptop, you could try the Offline mode. This feature is only available in the browser version.

@Suty It would be incredible if we could have a few model runs to compare. I'm sure you know that run to run variability can make forecasting difficult, so being able to see trends would really make Windy stand out even more than it already does.

Are you able to elaborate on some of the hurdles?

@illili This decision was made by the whole team, since there was almost no feedback about the offline mode on the desktop version and also there are, as you said, certain hurdles and it is in general more complicated to deliver this feature to mobile apps.
