Use of Windy in MATLAB

Is there a way to use the API to pull data into MATLAB? I'm assuming it is theoretically possible, but has anyone done it successfully? My company often uses windy forecasts to determine potential locations for testing we need to conduct, and it would be nice to be able to pull this information into a MATLAB application to help determine areas of interest. I've tried a few different methods I've found online for other APIs, but so far have had no luck with the windy API.
