iPhone lock screen widget only shows celcius

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and added the lock screen widget that shows the 5 day outlook. However, even though I have mine set to display Fahrenheit in the app itself, the widget will only show celcius. I looked through the app and I do not see a way to update that for the widget. Shouldn't the widget be looking at the app settings to determine which should be displayed?
