Distance and Time Marker in Route planning boat
-
Re: Distance and Planing
Can anyone explain to me the meaning of the time marker in the routing function for boats? It seems to be completely wrong (see screen shots). Is only the time indication wrong or also the weather map shown on the main screen? Or do I do not understand the function right?

@Martin-Rickert
You are right. I made several test and the time in the small grey panel is obviously wrong. It displays erratic results. Or it is necessary to tap several time on the screen to get the right time.
This needs to be fixed. -

Thank you for testing it and for your answer. But the weather forecast in the list as well as the weather situation shown on the main screen are the correct ones for the "correct" time that should be shown? It is only the "time digits" shown in the grey panel that are wrong?

@Martin-Rickert
I made a new comparison of weather at each waypoints and at same time in the normal wind map.
I use a customised wind scale which gives a better visualisation of the different wind speed steps.

As you said it seems there is only a time issue in the small grey panel

Thank you. So it's only the "time stamp" in the grey route marker thats shows the wrong time, the rest of all information seems correct.

@Martin-Rickert
I think so but I only checked the wind field at way point positions / time.
