Tidal surge or wind driven tide information

I appreciate all the work that has gone into making this what it has become.
I would just like to suggest adding the ability to see more detailed information about sound side areas that are more dramatically affect by wind direction vs tides.
For example. There are advisories for the putter banks area now due to strong NW winds.
There is a good possibility this is already included but I have not been able to find out how to use it yet.
Either way.
Thanks for the great app! It has proven to be reliable and consistent for us when planning fishing trips.

No, there is no detailed information on the effect of bathymetry and coastal shape on sea level rise as a function of wind direction and strength (storm surge). The resolution of the models, both for wind and currents, is not fine enough to obtain an analysis that depends on the shape of the coast and the seabed.This article provides comprehensive insight into this type of phenomenon, which can be extreme in the case of a tropical cyclone.
