Off line reviewing of previously downloaded data

Many users want to review data a day or two after they leave phone reception, eg when sailing or bushwalking. It would be great to be able to do that. Given that the data has already been downloaded, is there some way it could be cached so it can be reviewed?

On desktop Windy has developed an offline feature which works fine. But it is said there are very few users of this Offline mode and so it will not be implemented in the mobile app.
It is not so surprising that this feature is not so used on desktop, I mean offline desktop. Even if there are some sailors using laptop or tablet with the browser version at sea. I think the Offline mode on the mobile app would be more popular.
