<![CDATA[How Windy is It?]]>Heading to Providenciales in a few days and all forecasts are calling for some pretty serious winds (20-35 mph). They've been saying this for days now but when I check the webcams of resorts, it doesn't look too bad. Do they tend to over forecast this or can it be problematic?

But Wind gusts are higher wind speeds compare the speed displayed by Wind that you find already too high.

By now the ECMWF wind speed forecast is 15 mph on Providenciales.
Check the Altitude slider is set to Surface.
Do you check Wind gusts instead of Wind?
