Having studied weather for over 40 years as a licensed sea captain learning forecasting the old fashioned way, I am continually amazed by Windy. The ability to see weather in action with all the advances in technology with a bird's eye view, continues to amaze me. I use many of the filters like tides, Lat and Long lines, atmospheric pressure, and numerous others everyday. It is one of the first programs I open each day to get up to the minute forecast and then checking throughout the day for updated information. Looking forward to diving into all the new features to enhance my daily routine with the extended forecast providing the ability to look further into the future.

Fantastic job Windy! I'm happy to see extended ECMWF forecast along with new satellite images for EU region!

        Keep the good work!

With very accurate prediction notifications the weather never surprises me.

Absolutely love the new version, this project has grown so well over the several years I’ve been using it, every new update for me has been really useful and had a Wow factor to the point where I no longer have to chase data from several sites the information I need is all here, Keep up the Awesome work.

Access-C is a game changer. For someone who travels it’s giving me weather where I need it next. And as always , accurate. I have been using windy now for a few years , and it has prepared me for some very wet situations. You can’t go past Windy for the best weather forecast . Have many of my friends now using the app.

Windy has, always been my trusted weather app anyway but the latest update has, made it even better. The new long range forecasts really help me with planning when i can likely go flying and the new layers and navigation makes it far easier to jump around looking at the weather along a planned route.

                    Very nice!
It's gettin' better all the time!

Wiindy cowers pretty much everything needeed for sailing open waters.

I wonder would it be possible to get a layer with ice cover on seas and lakes.
For skaters and hard water sailors this would be!

Thanks for your work! I never leave the dock without a look at Windy and I suggest to everybody your free version for a better and intuitive understanding of the forecast. What I would really appreciate it would be a layer with fronts that can be optionally overlapped to satellite, radar and pressure. It would be the ultimate feature as I compare all the time your graphic imagery with sinoptic charts.

Probably when the AI algorithms will able to plot fronts. For now the weather models are not able to do this. This job is done by meteorologists and Windy doesn't employ any of them.

Great news and update indeed. Especially for premium users. However one key and very basic feature is missing - choose a default forecast model so we don’t have to switch from very inaccurate ECMWF to incredible accurate ICON2 every single time I open the app (which is 4-5x a day).
Thanks in advance for adding this soon. Keep the good work up!

After years with another weather app, I ended up trying out Windy and selected premium pretty much from the start. I have absolutely no regret with the switch to Windy, as it delivers the information I need to plan ahead every day. Thanks for making a great app even better.

@Polina-Nozdrina A new user here, being a firefighter. Is really impressed with the visualize-tools, which gives me a great understanding of the current weather conditions for my work as well as whether I should be aware of specific situations for the comming days. It is really great!

Congratulations on the release team. Happy to hear from you.

There's one thing I would love to see is the possibility to copy all values from the favourite weather layers and weather model in CSV format.

This would help me paste those values in a spreadsheet and compare the over multiple locations quite quickly.

                                      Cheers
