      @m-hei

This pin never opened your Favorite locations, these are your favorite layers. To access your Favorites list, you need to tap on your profile picture.

Well, I may be a novice user again, but what I've seen of it so far- I LOVE THE NEW VERSION. I may have to dig deeper into my money "kitty" and buy in to the paid version!
Also, I have appreciated the comments, as they enlighten. I wish more experienced users would post. I always see something from the comments that I missed.
Thank you for all the hard work!

Great updates. One thing I would like you to add is a validation section that compares forecasts for a given location (such as favorites) over time to determine which weather model is most accurate for the given location.

          Hallo from Vienna!

You do a real good job with this app. I used it this year while walking the Pennineway in the Uk and I got the best forecast ever!
So I could plan my trip every day to be shure to have the full comfort for the whole day - even some days in previous!

As I walked for 20 days and I mainly stayed in a tent during night, it has been essential to get real good information!

          Thank you!

In the browser version it is done automatically.
In the mobile app, you get it from the Stores, PlayStore or AppleStore.
Check the version you have at bottom of menu.

Windy does an excellent job, especially for all the models as well as the interface.

44 looks like another positive step. The one thing that I would like seeing added is more detail when you zoom into a HRRR or ECMWF model instead of the smoothing that occurs, similar to the way that radar works.

Glad to see the user interface changes! I was frustrated at times trying to get to my layers and favorites. Seems smoother now. Well done!

more detail when you zoom into a HRRR or ECMWF model instead of the smoothing

What do you mean with smoothing?
Do you mean that you would like a non-smoothed color scale i.e. a scale by non-continuous color steps?
Or more detail provided by the models? This is not possible as the resolution of the model does not depend on Windy but on the model itself. ECMWF resolution is 9km and that of HRRR is 3km. Like with a photography, it is the size of the "pixels of the image" provided by the model.

@Polina-Nozdrina I'm very disappointed that Total Precipitable Water was again not included despite years of several people requesting it.

I like the new version and the way Windy is constantly improving. I'm just an amateur weather guy but I think this update make Windy the go to fire any first responder.

                          Thank you!

How do you improve on the best weather site? Simple. You can't! But the enhancements make the experience all the better and clearer.

Who would of thought a weather app could be so interesting and full of detail.

Just brilliant! Keep up the good work!

                                    Nice update!

Speaking of 15-day forecast; it would be nice to have a full-screen forecast view in the app/web. The existing view is a bit tiny.

                                    Thanks

I live in Belgium which is known for it's harder to predict weather, which results in metereologic expertise built up though years.
Hence the guidance by the Belgian metereolgist David Dehenauw of the succesful balloon trips around the world in 2002 (Steve Fosset) and 2016 (Fedor Konyukhov).
I don't have that expertise myself, neither can I rely on David Dehenauw, but I do have Windy as metereologic swiss knife, most handy as a photographer in the first place. Windy rocks, and so does every layer ! The newest design is more than cool and even gives me even faster access to the information I am after. Love it, and hence I still propagate it in (but not limited to) Belgium! The days that I used another weather app are way behind me!

Took the premium plunge on Windy. Glad to see it being used for more interesting features. So much to learn.
