Version 44 Has Landed – See What’s New!

Not specific to v44, but it would be good to be able to pin the model to be displayed. I prefer to use the UKV model. Each time I select it and then close the app the model reverts to ECMWF.

I have been an avid user of Windy. Big fan of its satellite imagery. Specifically, I look at Satellite view to look at cloud movements to plan my day like whether I should dry my clothes outside or road trip on bike or go for shopping. Also, I look at Wind and temperature maps time to time to understand the weather patterns. Keep doing the good work as always #Windy ❤️

You make certificate from windy and gave it for any people that they learn windy
Or you can make the course windy for the people and this benefit consist develop and it's going to famous course -
@Ahmed-A-AS for US$0.37 a week you can have premium. You really have no one to blame but yourself if you feel like you are missing out on premium features.
-
@adhoffman I only miss Windy the " pet " project and nothing else. You have landed on the wrong spot, paraglider.

I have been a premium Wendy’s user for several years now. It has become my go to app for weather. We fish offshore in the Gulf of Mexico out of the Mississippi passes. We use a STARLINK Mini Roam dish for connectivity. This gives us real time weather with Windy.
This app gives us a margin of safety to navigate around squalls and sometimes waterspouts.
I have recommended this app to a number of people and they all love how it functions.
Image getting real time weather offshore out of sight of land on a high resolution screen and having all the features of Wendy.
Wendy is a game changer for us.
Onshore, Wendy helps to know the wind conditions before we cast off from the Cypess Cove Marina in Venice Louisiana to go down river to fish offshore.
On a daily basis, I use Wendy’s in my oil and gas operations as a planning tool for when to schedule work in the oil patch.
Again this app is a game changer for me.
Needless to say, I recommend Wendy’s premium. -
I have to say that I'm HIGHLY impressed with the enhanced clarity and detail in the new Access-C model for Australia!👌
We Aussies are often overlooked when it comes to 'effective' weather modelling, but having used Windy for three years has rekindled my faith. 🙏
The new model works even better where I live which is rural and over 1km above sea level, with our own microclimate. You can actually see clear changes in weather conditions between my place and the town 10 minutes down the mountain. It's great for planning sowing and harvesting dates, as well as prepping for adverse weather events like snow and high winds. ❄️
Keep up the great work and THANK YOU! 💪💯😊

Sem dúvidas o Windy.com é um site em que podemos confiar. Já usei suas informações até para ajudar a alguns capitães de navio que graças as suas informações decidiram desviar a sua rota. Obrigado à equipe do Windy pelos seus esforços!

Thanks Windy, your website is almost perfect with the latest updates. But I miss an important feature in the radar.
In the last 10 years, there have been two major hailstorms in my region that have caused huge damage. There are websites that show the hail and the size of the hailstones on the radar. If this information could also be made visible on Windy's radar, it would be a significant increase in safety in order to be warned in good time in the event of such thunderstorms -
Didier Segers. Cpt Peak.

Windy continues to surprise me with new nice features. Love it, thank you 😊

@joewindy23
You can do that yourself as it is possible to customise the color scale of almost all layers in Windy.
The hail risk is close to a 55 dBZ signal. Here is my custom scale with a bright red range indicating a hail risk right now in AustraliaSee more details on how to change the color scale in this article.

Windy is awesome. I like the sheer volume of information available. I especially like the lighting information. Looking forward to digging into v.44.

We are always using Windy for predicting our sea weather conditions when sailing, in particular for longer passages - but also for day trips.
It always gives us confidence to observe predictions match with observations.
We like the choice and resolution available for the different regions and time scales and the available sea states with wind waves and swell directions.
As a former staff at EUM I welcome that you use the latest satellite images and observations and make it available on such an easy to use interface to a broad user community. Go-on - Happy New Year 2025 -
Wow Wow , so intricate and detailed presentation. I love it already 😍

Wow. It's too bad some of the comments aren't more helpful. Any who, this is my first time trying to corral all the information available to me on the site and condense it down to make sense to what I do for work. I am a surf instructor and boat mate here in Waikiki Hawaii where the weather is always great. Except when there are storms. Sometimes we have rain that is sustained for a month at a time. During that time, I can't really work due to the brown water and nobody signing up for lessons or the rain keeps us from sailing. Being able to predict times like these is paramount for my savings account. I used the windy app years ago but found that my education level when it comes to weather was lacking severely. Now that I have a better background, I've jumped back into the app. I like the new customization interface. Much easier to understand than the previous version. I'm a photographer so the new detail in the images is also nice. What I would love to see is someone who is good at relaying information from experts to laypersons (like a pharm rep) come in and break this down in a video on Youtube or Vimeo or Facebook or somewhere for people to use in order to customize their site for themselves. I would be happy to do it if someone could break it down to me really well. I teach so this is my wheelhouse. Other than that this site is the most comprehensive that I've seen.

Well done. Always a useful app, now even better.

I don't see how to upgrade to 44 what is the secret
