Windy has slowed to treacle with Firefox 115.18.0esr on a Mac running 10.14.6 any workarounds other than updating the Mac (whioch I can't). Safari with Windy runs fine. Only just started happening.

@Cottycam Could you please test any other browsers? Chrome for example?

@Suty Yes Windy on Safari 14.1.2 and running fine on same OS. On my wife's MacBook Pro mid-2012 OS 10.12.6 and Firefox 115.18.0esr it runs fine. Strange! Thanks for looking into this....

Looks like I am not alone to have noticed this slowdown.

@Suty If I delete the Firefox app from my system and download and install it again, will all my bookmarks and history still be in place?

@Suty @Corona21 RESOLVED! Followed the Firefox troubleshooting page by clearing caches and history, no change. Then restarted Firefox in Troubleshooting mode with extensions disabled etc, no change. Then turned off hardware acceleration and problem resolved!
