Difficult to use

I'm traveling with my wife driving. As we're passing through snow flurries, I'm trying to use Windy to locate cloud base, snow accumulation,etc. Only when I select weather radar, can I determine our location. Why cant our location be present in all selected map options? Also, if I put cross hairs on a different city, there is no way to show or select the conditions for that location.

To determine your location, in top of menu click on Find my location
To get the weather forecast at a location selected by the crosshair, click on Forecast for this location in the grey top banner.
Not so difficult to use !
