Don't change settings to American units because I'm currently in the US
-
I'm in the US on a trip and noticed that all my unit settings have changed to American units (miles, feet, fahrenheit, ...).
This is not a feature for me. I'm still the same person who measures in Km, meters, and has no idea what a fahrenheit is or why it's still around.
Suggest to keep unit settings person dependent and not location dependent.

In Settings you can change all units in metric. -
@idefix37 I know- my settings were all metric, and then I came to the US and they all changed to American units so I had to change all my settings again. this is my point :)

Could this be a bug? I've found other users reporting that the unit settings weren't saved. And the same happend to me now. I'm in Europe and have been here since I created my Windy account. I use the web interface and the Android app - all on the latest versions. So just now I logged back into my account on the laptop, and most of my unit settings were changed from metric to imperial. Why, Windy? It doesn't make any sense. Especially since all the settings in the Android app are still correct in metric, just as I set them months ago. But somehow the web interface forgot/lost my settings. How can this be? Are the not saved in my account, so they should be the same across all devices when I'm logged into my account? If this keeps happening and I need to re-set all the settings on web over and over again, then Windy becomes useless. Again, I don't know what causes this, but a quick community search clearly shows that this has been a known problem for years.
