I really don't understand why the need to raise the premium subscription price 25%. Is there 25% more new features?

@idefix37 So the reason raise the price "just because everyone else is doing it" is a poor reason. No new features but raise the price of "Premium" 25% just because you haven't? .. another poor reason

@mprosto We are still working on new features and adding them all year round. You can check planned summary of the year 2024, which should be released soon. Our colleagues are working on getting new radars, satellite data, models. We also work on further improvements and new features in alerts, layers in general and also new perks for mobile devices and wearables.

@Suty I think is better first add all the new stuff and then raise the price. People want to see why this increase. If you do the increase before, people only see that you increase for nothing.

@Valencia_WX You are right about this, but we didn't increase the price because we are now planning one or two new features. We are constantly working on new ones and adding them to Windy and pricing was increased for the first time in history of our app.

@Suty I know I'm an old user of Windy (about 6-7 years). You're doing well. At least, give us a plan for 2025, or post why your team decided to do this increase (like if the servers cost more, we need to pay more for ECMWF, or we are going to add this new model which costs this...). Transparency is always better!

25% more reason not to pay if you ask me. The value is simply not there. And how they will make you pay? Slowly remove features that were there for free.
The typical negative-value (paywalling) incentive. Instead of providing value to make you pay, you take away value from people who do not.

I mean I was premium the last 2 years, I just don't see the value anymore, since, not much has been improved other the horrendous UI/UX change from last year
