The application is saying Slidell, Louisiana is 44° the local weather application and my outside thermometer are reading 38°? Why the differences in temperature and it isn't just at my location but others as well. This could be a math translation error?

        Some remarks and questions

        • Windy displays temperature forecast not measured temperature unless you take it from a weather station shown by Reported temperature in Windy POIs.

        • Is your outside thermometer really a good reference ? There are many personal weather station (pws) displayed in Windy, so you can compare your own temperature reports.

        • Which weather model do you use? If it is the default model with a 9km resolution it could be influenced by the nearby sea. Better to use a high resolution model like HRRR.

        • Comparison with the wx station of the local airport shows that METEOBLUE is the model giving the lower error. But this model is only available in the local forecast table.
