Weather Radar is offline for whole of Indonesia

Hi @Philipp-Solay, looks like whole radar section of BMKG web doesn't show any data:

-
@Filip_K have you reported it to them? Thx

@Filip_K
Its funny because if i use the app on my watch it looks like it would work. But it only looks like. Because if i press play, the rain keeps staying at the same spot all the time :D.. So its probably just the last data the app got from the system.I hope its going to be normal again soon and its not a kind of a new regulation in Indonesia. Because as motorcycle enthusiast who lives in a Monsun country, a rain radar is simething very very useful.. And the one of you guys is the most accurate one i know :)

Hi @Ivo-Šmíd, yes, radar is under maintenance, we currently don't have any estimate on how long it will take.

I find out that they are maybe hiding the data for some reason.
When I install their Android application I can see meteoradar pictures for my area. For those in similar situation, this is workaround.

@Filip_K I think the maintenance is from database server communication to the BMKG website, also to Windy. Because in the BMKG mobile application it is still visible, and also on this website:

Relay of SMS report from Aman Air:
Weather radar overlayed with lightning strike display aids weather prediction and avoidance.
Aman Air AT 802s do not have a weather radar nor a lightning strike display. As a mitigation, we use the Windy App on our handphone that will normally display weather radar (presumably relayed from BMKG) and satellite detected lightning. We can see cumulus building to the mature CB stage, most often associated with lightning in clusters to be avoided. This is a good hazardous weather predictive tool for our short leg flights.However, today Windy shows all of Asia is displaying weather radar, EXCEPT Indonesia. We have reverted to using BMKG for wx radar but BMKG never displays lightening, even on a browser laptop.
We wish the blockage discovered and fixed to restore Indonesian weather radar to Windy.

FYI, the BMKG iOS app has the weather radar working.
