Font and symbols not displaying correctly

For some reason many (most) of the symbols for menus and some other features aren't displaying right. I think I maybe don't have the right font installed?? Here's a screenshot. Running the latest firefox in Linux, ideas?

Allowing pages to choose their own fonts fixed it. I should Have thought of and tried that. Thanks!
