<p dir="auto">There should be a plume of PM2.5, aerosols and NO2 right showing up with a fire that size.</p>

<p dir="auto">There are several reasons that may explain this:</p>
<p dir="auto">Data Lag: Data from satellites and air quality measurements may not be updated immediately on Windy. It can take some time for the system to integrate new data into the maps.</p>
<p dir="auto">Measurement Algorithms: The algorithms used by Windy to detect and display PM2.5, aerosols, and CO₂ may not be sensitive enough to capture low concentrations or small smoke plumes, especially if the fire has not fully developed.</p>
<p dir="auto">Weather Conditions: Wind patterns and other atmospheric conditions can disperse pollutants quickly, which may affect their visibility on the maps.</p>
