@Polina-Nozdrina
Really excited about this.
Unfortunately the location being shown is about 75km away from where I am. I jumped in settings to set a default location based on latitude and longitude however my keyboard on my android device is not giving me the option to add a negative (-) value for southern hemisphere latitude. Also if we can get 'body battery' as a complication that would be great. Thanks for looking into🙏 -
@Polina-Nozdrina so far so good on my older Fenix 6 saphire. Been looking for something like this for a while now while out on long hikes. Easy to read and use

@krisjohntwin Hi, for now, we wanted to release at least this Beta version, but there are plans to improve the app and offer more from Windy.com.
-
@paulcw We will investigate the issue with the location, thank you for your feedback.

Good Day,
Garmin Venu 3S.
Settings:- 3-hours Forecast
- ECMWF
- Show complications bar ON
- Use Default Location OFF
Found my location fine.
Seems to be showing proper units.
Wind speed doesn't quite match exactly what I see on the website (Premium 3h selected)
Temperature doesn't quite match exactly what I see on the website (free version)End of my location name and 2100h forecast tile are cut off (6h,9,12,15,18,21)
4-Day forecast mode
End of my location name and title of 4th day is slightly cut off.Hope that's helpful! Very cool to see you folks release this upgrade to Garmin devices - I've seen a lot of requests for it! Well done!

I’m really excited about this. But unfortunately my Venu SQ2 isn’t supported yet. Is there any chance this will be supported?
-
Guys, this not an app, it's a watchface. I am totally happy with my current watchface on my Fenix 8. I really like windy and would love to use it. Please publish it as a proper app....
-
Any chance of adding Descent 2 / 2i to the list of compatible devices? It's just a Fenix with dive capabilities, so should be able to work.
-
@3william56 @windy-an @marksit More devices could be added, but some devices are not possible for their technical limits, Garmin FR945 for example. Please be aware that this is a kind Beta version and more will be added in future.
-
@Wheats Hello, we will investigate the accuracy of the forecast. Regarding the cut-offs, this is limitation of general design for many types of devices. Since Garmin provides huge variety of resolutions, designs and shapes od displays we want to offer the most general solution.
-
@geoffmurray5955 Hi, you are right about this, but we don't see much potential in the Windy.com app for Garmin watch, since these apps don't have that much popularity on these devices. However, we want to add more features in the near future.
-
No Quatix 5 support?
-
Will more watch models be compatible with this after the beta? Would love to use this on my instinct 2
-
@Lure @Fabien-M-3 Hi, it is possible to add some devices later, but I can't promise your specific devices.
-
Hi Are you planning on rolling this out for the Descent Mk2i or Mk3i watches?
-
@Roger-Beeden As I mentioned above, please check my previous posts.
-
-
Can you please make Windy.com App compatible with the Descent Mk3i.
