      Hi, I'm new so sorry if this has already been answered. (Looked but could not find.) Often, as today, I notice that there are colours on a wind map that are not shown on the colour scale at bottom right. Right now (00.10 UTC) storm Eowyn's wind gust map contains a creamy-white area - yet the scale does not include white. The strongest winds show as blue. Is there an explanation for this please?

        To see the complete color scale -> Settings -> Customize color scale

          @idefix37 I think he's referring to the scale at the bottom, it stops at 70mph even though higher speeds are shown.

            Yes, of course, I understood that !
            That's why I provided the full scale. For special events like the Eowyn storm, it's not too hard to use this workaround.
            The small size of the color scale doesn't allow to show extreme values. This choice of Windy is not recent, I've always known it like this.
            Or it would be necessary to increase its size…
            Personally I never use this small scale because I refer to a customised color scale for wind.
