That's brilliant, and it may have saved some lives and allowed some people in LA to get out of the area in the absence of government warnings. And like the heading, were these fires predictable?</p>

Hi,<br />
Windy offers a layer to assess the fire risk.<br />
It is the Fire danger layer</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1737831794767-dac7893d-a56f-4973-9b6f-931e9fa90d87.jpeg" alt="DAC7893D-A56F-4973-9B6F-931E9FA90D87.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1737831818727-748e378b-f019-444b-8368-154ee5327b79.jpeg" alt="748E378B-F019-444B-8368-154EE5327B79.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">See <em>About these data</em> in the menu of the mobile app or by clicking the small circled <em><strong>i</strong></em> in the bottom right corner of the web version.</p>
<p dir="auto">In addition it is useful to consider the Wind accumulation layer that is the field of the max gusts predicted for the time frame you can choose.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1737834213429-7bfec780-2950-4a27-a517-b5c68cd87d7c.jpeg" alt="7BFEC780-2950-4A27-A517-B5C68CD87D7C.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">Then it is also interesting to see the predicted relative humidity with the Humidity layer.</p>
<p dir="auto"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1737833325576-f4ba79da-8727-40a2-a7f9-423e41258933.jpeg" alt="F4BA79DA-8727-40A2-A7F9-423E41258933.jpeg" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /></p>
<p dir="auto">These layers allow you to assess the wildfire risk.</p>
