Request - Upcoming Precipitation Alert

I see that I can set alerts for rain accumulation for a period of time, but I don't see a way of setting an alert for upcoming precipitation for my current location. This would be helpful for outdoor activities such as hiking.
I used Carrot Weather in the past which had this feature and it did a pretty good job.

If you set an alert for at least 1mm during 3h, don’t you think you set the alert for the upcoming precipitation ? -

If you set an alert for at least 1mm during 3h, don’t you think you set the alert for the upcoming precipitation ?It doesn't say upcoming anywhere. It says the rain must accumulate within a period of 3 hours. Doesn't sound predictive to me, sounds like the rain must be measurable.

So the Rain layer in Windy is not predictive ?
This layer in the FAQ is described in this way:
Rain, thunder: Rain/snow accumulation in the last 3 hours
