<![CDATA[Import gpx routes iPhone app]]>To keep being relevant in the app world windy needs to make importing gpx routes into it app. As a boater that is invaluable. I can make a route my maps program and should be able to send it to my weather program to see conditions on my actual route. Not every boater uses a computer. I use a iPhone and iPad.

As a pilot, I use ForeFlight and this is my procedure to do everything on my iPhone:

FOREFLIGHT FPL-KML-GPX

  • ForeFlight

    • Flights, Send To, Map
    • In Map, Send To, SHARE FPL FILE, choose location

  • https://www.gpsvisualizer.com

    • Upload a GPS file:
    • Choose an output format: GPX

  • WINDY

    • Logo account
    • Scroll down, more, more, ….
    • Route saved (choose any)
    • …More
    • Import GPX
    • Choose GPX file
