Predicted Precipitation

Hi at the moment I'm pretty sure Windys rain/thunder layer uses 1 hour accumulation and not forecast precipitation. This creates strange lines (where the precip would have fallen in the past hour) instead of viewing the actual areas of precip which causes a loss of definition.
For example for today in the Southern UK windys rain/thunder layer shows this for 22:00
Ventusky which uses the actual forecast precip looks like this
You can see the difference where Windy isn't using forecast precip and instead is using 1hr accumulation which creates the lines effect and obviously doesn't show as much detail.

Windy does not display the forecast precipitation intensity, but the forecast accumulated precipitation over the last 3 hours.

I thought it was that or similar. Any chance we could have the predicted intensity instead? In forecasting terms it would be more useful as the last 3 hours is what's happened instead of what's happening at any one particular point in time.
