Erratic Data from Wifilogger

I have been sending data to windy for quite a few years now. The data is sent from Weather Display but only when my desktop PC is switched on. My station ID is f073a08c. I recently installed a Wifilogger2 SD in my Davis VP2 station so that the data will be uploaded to Windy 'continuously'. I have configured the wifilogger according to the instructions on both this site and the wifilogger website but the data appearing in Windy is very erratic. To check that everything is setup correctly I logged in to stations.windy.com and clicked on the show API key button. This shows the API key but the key is different to the original one I entered in Weather Display. In fact each time I log in and click the show API key button I get a different API key. It seems to be made of three sections separated by a dot. The first two sections are always the same but the third changes each time the show API key button is pressed. Does anyone have any ideas why the key changes and why windy is not showing data? The debug screen on the wifilogger shows data is being sent to windy every 5 minutes.
