      Hello.
since a few days back windy has been working very slowly when loading and changing the time line and when loading the particles.
We have a fast internet connection and a good computer and i've tried removing all web browser extensions and deleting cache.

is there anymore steps to take to get this working?
It started around 4 days ago

@ortviken Yes, it seems to be the same issue, can you please provide more info about the region from which you are accessing the Windy.com? Also, what browser do you use?

I would also like to report problems.

In my case the Brave browser is having problems running Windy. Brave version 1.75.175 Chromium: 133.0.6943.54 (Official Build) (64-bit) running on Windows 10.

I have no problems on either Chrome (Version 133.0.6943.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)) or Firefox (135.0 (64-bit)) running on Windows 10.

Hi, was there any advancement on this as I seem to be having the same issue. Got a brand new PC I'm setting up to deploy to a vessel and the animations force the tab to run very slowly.

It's not the device itself, any other tabs or apps run quickly as normal.

If I turn off the particle animation it's fine, so it's definitely that.

I've tried Chrome, Edge and Brave. All have the same issue.

If I turn off hardware acceleration it's slightly worse.

It's a Dell Optiplex and it's fully up to date - a brand new Windows 11 installation.

I was testing around the western Med. Spain, Malta etc.

                                Thanks.
