Windy android app is suddenly super laggy

Normally, navigating on the map usually runs at or near 60fps.
I can't measure it so I'm just eyeballing, but the fps was definitely hitting single figures today every time I used the app. It definitely never got above 15fps.
The entire time I was doing anything it was really really struggling. Everything loaded completely fine, but moving around on the map felt like being back in 2014 playing Minecraft on my £200 laptop.

I have removed all data and reinstalled, but the problem remains. -

I have same problem. When I drag over an area it keeps gliding by target zone. Slow and lagging as you said. Very frustrating.
