Bells and Bell Icons

If I choose a single model forecast for my set location, I see random bell icons along the top of the forecast. What they mean, I do not know. Many have asked about a bell but only answer is for location. Nothing about the forecast. If I choose some other location to see a forecast, no bells are displayed in the single model forecast.
Plus, they are placed at different random locations along the top of the forecast depending on what model I bring up. Very strange.

The bells you get in the local forecast panel appear when the conditions in the alert you set for that location are predicted to occur at those time intervals.
When you set an Alert for a very strong wind for instance, it is important to know if it will happen but also to know when.
