What distinguishes these two platforms?

Hello everyone,
I'm new and have a question. What distinguishes these two platforms?
Whenever I encounter two websites with similar names, it raises a red flag for me. It feels like one site is trying to exploit the reputation of the original, banking on users not scrutinizing the subtle differences. Which one of these is the real deal and which one is just a trap for the unsuspecting?

@handfrail Well first off you're on the Windy.com forum...so naturally...there is probably a bias lol
You can make your own decisions in life but I was drawn to Windy.com because it is extremely easy to find out exactly where the data you're looking at is coming from, and that's important to me. Also there seems to be so much more available for free on Windy.com.I just had a quick look at the other app and I have to "go pro" in order to look at any model other than GFS? come on now. That's just silly to me.
I can't express this enough - I can click one icon and know exactly where the all the data I'm looking at is coming from. It's not a mystery and it shouldn't be. On the website (probably on the app too) you can click the link they provide and go right to the source of the data (ie whatever organization is providing it).
I don't know the history of the two apps (like which one came first and all that) because the other one was a non-starter for me once I compared it to windy.com however long ago, it might have even been windyty still I don't remember lol
