Drought monitoring color scale
-
@Suty
I see a strange difference between the colors of Drought monitoring/soil moisture between the app and the new browser version. This one shows different color gradients in the map, despite using the default color scale.

The browser version map shows the same color for soil moisture from 35% to 100% (field capacity).
Now this map is useless ! Try to compare Moisture anomaly and Soil moisture, you will understand …

A drought monitoring color scale is used to show how severe drought conditions are in a region.
Light colors (yellow) indicate abnormally dry conditions, while darker shades (orange to red) show moderate to extreme drought. The darkest colors (dark red or purple) represent exceptional drought, meaning severe water shortages and major impacts on agriculture and ecosystems.
