Can't access archival data all of a sudden.
-
@J-Mac-3 HI, we still offer the archive for radar and satellite layers. Where exactly are you missing this feature?

@Suty on the app. It has no option for archival access. I checked if it was there on my partners and it was so I asked her to update her software and it disappeared. Now neither of our devices have it.

@J-Mac-3 if I could send a picture I would. I can't be the only oerson with this complaint. I want to cancel my account and be refunded. It is a fucking joke. I pay for this access and have not had it for over a month now.

Simply click on the 3 dots at the bottom right of the screen to access the Satellite and Radar archives.

@idefix37

@J-Mac-3
How could I know that you don’t have access to these dots ? I’m not looking at your screen over your shoulder !
How could I know you are tech savy ? You should be able to figure out how to post a screenshot !1 On phone you might need to swipe these buttons to the left to make the RH ones visible.
2 Click on this button to add a screenshot

@idefix37 the ideal that me and my partner, one on apple one on samsung have the identical issue says that it is likely many people have this problem. It is part of the update. It was fine on both devices before the last update.
-
@J-Mac-3 I have already lost access for over a month and so I am paying for a service I am not recieving, I rely on this data for work and it is very frustrating to have it taken away with no explanation.

@J-Mac-3
I doubt your second screenshot, with the black banner at the bottom of the screen, is from an Apple device (iPhone). To my knowledge, it's only available on Android devices.My first screenshot is from an iPhone.
By clicking the "Magnifying Glass" icon to search the forum with the appropriate keywords, you should have found similar posts regarding this Android issue, which should be fixed in the next version of the Windy app.

@idefix37 cheers mate, I am android as I have mentioned. Only idiots use iPhone. Anyhow, I found that I can rotate to landscape to gain access. Thanks muchly for your time.
-
@J-Mac-3 May I ask what model of device, version of Android and Windy you use?
-
@J-Mac-3
Thank you for the lovely qualifier as I am using an iPhone.
Why did you say that one of your screenshot is from an Apple device if it is not ? -
@Suty samsung note 20 ultra, android 13, windy 45.0.6.
