How to turn OFF "forecasted radar

I would like to suggest the possibility of adding an option to disable the future radar display on Windy.com. I've noticed that when using Microsoft Edge and allowing it to run in the background for an extended period, the radar tends to freeze on the future forecast after a few minutes. This issue requires me to manually switch back to the past radar, which can be quite inconvenient. It seems that having past radar as the default setting would enhance the user experience, as it would eliminate the need for frequent adjustments. It would be great to have a feature that allows users to customize their radar view based on their preferences. Thank you for considering this improvement!

I think I read somewhere on the forum that there is a fix coming for an issue where the radar moves into 'future radar' automatically.
But I 100% agree that it would be beneficial if users could customize their experience more and choose to disable the future radar portion entirely.

@Wheats HI, yes, there is a plan to stop the issue with auto-switching to forecast, but there won't be any button to turn the red part completely off.

I would also like to be able to eliminate or disable the future radar. Mine constantly switches over to it, and I personally find it to be useless, especially when scattered thunderstorms are flowing through here in the midwest. It is annoying to have to keep switching back to past>current radar.

Still no update or reply? This is incredibly annoying and needs fixed or switched off. Sometimes it switches over just minutes after loading current radar - why?? -
@Suty Is there a fix for the future to get better at the future? If there is a spinning low, the future will take the last reading and continue the progress straight, not in a curved motion like the real low does.

@CAPFlying4Fun I agree, i think there should be a toggle on/off for the 'future' radar. Its not really even that accurate. And it seems to just go into the future on every run. I want to see the real time radar repeat, not go into the future that doesnt track properly.

@Suty Seriously, WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED??? What a massive blunder that should be receiving top priority, not waiting on other enhancements. I have to interact with it CONSTANTLY. It switches to useless future radar after 1 or 2 runs through on current. Always been a big fan of the app but this is just ridiculous.

@LaneYar It is not about waiting for other new changes, but this one optimization and stopping the animation without the permission is an issue that needs complete redesign of the system unfortunately.
