Shaded Black Diagonal lines Meaning

I was looking at the forecast for thermals this weekend, and wondered what the shaded areas were as per the title.

I think they show up on other filters as well, not just thermals. Does anyone know ?

Maybe the "Stripes" are what you're referring to?

Find "about these data" on the app, or on the browser it's the "i" symbol above where you select the model.
