Actual Temperature & Forecast Inaccuraate

My location is Lac du Lessoc and unfortunately non of models show the actual temperature accurately +/- 3C and the forecasts differ significantly from those of MeteoSwiss +/- 10C

There is no way for weather models and particularly for global models to predict correct temperatures at a location surrounded by mountains … because the data is smoothed between the grid points of model, … because the weather model don’t see the location at the right altitude… because of the temperature inversion in mountains…
Unfortunately there is no weather station displayed in Windy at Lessoc or at Montbovon. But checking the one in Château d’Oex shows that Meteoblue (a Swizz model) provides accurate temperatures more consistently. This model is only available in the detailed forecast table but is very accurate in mountain for temperature.
As Premium user you can use the Observation vs forecast feature at any weather station location.
Do you know that Météo Suisse is using ICON 1km and ICON 2km models ? This last one is similar to ICON-D2 in Windy.
