Quicker Way to Switch Forecast Models

I totally agree with the idea of adding an icon or button to quickly open the model selection. Using the “Compare forecasts” option isn’t very convenient for me, because I’m usually interested in looking at a specific layer (like rain, wind, etc.) with a different forecast model — not comparing data for one single location. So being able to switch models quickly while viewing the same map would make a big difference!
Of course, that’s just my personal opinion and I really appreciate you taking the time to consider the feedback!

this was commented as a good idea back in 2023.....would be a nice addition improving the functionality of the keyboard and quick access to NWP model choice.
For the PC user, keyboard control wins hands down against mouse control every day.

Beyond my previous suggestion, the list of available models in the area could be added to the "Pin" option. This would allow easy access to layers or to models, depending on the user's choice.
This choice should be saved so that the list of models or the list of layers is directly accessible.

I think it’s a good idea, it would help keep the main screen cleaner.
Personally, I’d still prefer having a dedicated button right on the main screen, just to make it as quick and accessible as possible.
But of course, that’s something for the developers to decide in the end!
