in view of the earthquakes in Myanmar and Thailand, an earthquake layer would still make sense

I completely agree, Ortlepp Enrico. An earthquake layer would be invaluable, especially given the recent seismic activity in Myanmar and Thailand. It's important to keep users informed and safe.
