Webcams available online are not findable from the API

Hi,

For certain webcams I can find them on the website but not through the API.

For example

https://www.windy.com/webcams/1600351830?45.561,10.567,13

links to a webcam on Lake Garda.

However

https://api.windy.com/webcams/api/v3/webcams/1600351830

returns no results.

Is there a reason for this or am I doing something wrong?

This could be due to:

API limitations or filtering.
Webcam privacy or licensing settings.
API version issues or restrictions with your key.

Try double-checking the API URL and reviewing the documentation. If it still doesn’t work, reaching out to Windy support might clarify if the webcam is restricted from API access.

@jamesrunnalls The correct answer is licensing settings, the owner of the webcam doesn't want to provide the webcam in our API, but only in the app.
