Be the face of Windy! Send us your video and join our next campaign 🎥
Do you use Windy while doing your favorite sport or outdoor adventure? Whether you’re a kiter, pilot, paraglider, surfer, sailor, climber — or just a passionate weather geek — show us how Windy helps and inspires you in action!
🎯 What are we making?
We’re creating a dynamic video ad made of real Windy users like you.
There will be two main cuts: 2 × 30-second edits + short 6-second stories. So, there is plenty of chance to be part of it!📸 What we’re looking for:
➡️ Send us a short vertical video (9:16) where you show:
- How you enjoy your sport or passion with Windy
- How Windy helps you plan, react, or be in the right place at the right time
- Who you are — feel free to talk to the camera
📋 How to increase your chance of being featured
- Shoot vertically (9:16 format – perfect for phones and reels)
- If possible, use GoPro, an external mic, or a stabilizer – but your phone is good enough
- Show yourself! Face and voice welcome 🙂
- Add extra action footage separately if you have it
🎁 What’s in it for you?
- A chance to be featured in Windy’s official global campaign
- Windy Premium for 30 days for the first five of you
- Windy Premium for 1 year, if you make it to the final cut
- Exclusive Windy merchandise
- Your name, company, team, + sport/hobby/occupation will appear on screen (e.g. David, Kiter from France)
📤 How to submit your video:
Upload your video to YouTube and share the link with us in the comments section of this article.
Deadline: April 30, 2025👉 Join us — and show the world how you live life with Windy at your side!

Good day :)
I am Lino and always looking for a nice flight to enjoy :)
I use Windy for making sure i don't make some silly weather mistakes when deciding to lift off!
Thanks for creating easy to digest maps and graphs so the weather briefing is fun!The video is from an early flight in south Tyrol, trying to catch the first few weak thermals and surfing around vaporizing whisps of the morning clouds.
Not sure how the upload went, it created a short. Hope that is ok:

We are so adventurous. We’re using an iCloud link instead of YouTube link. This is us, cruising the dinghy back to the boat in AVALON Harbor.

Windy saved our butts on this day. Wind predictions were all over the place mainly due to where we race. It was a crazy day on the race course and we loved the downwind run through the south sound of the Pacific Northwest! Great aerial shots (with an insane drone recovery) abound with high octane/high speed sailboat racing at over 14 knots.
