      Does anyone know the meaning of (a) FL in cloud tops ,and (b) LIFR, VFR,.. in cloud base?

        For FL

        (aprox. FL is houndred of feet,
        e.g. FL080=8.000ft, FL240=24.000ft etc).

        For VFR/LIFR

        In general it has to do with visibility and cloud base height.

          if you press the LIRF ... VFR color bar,
          you'll see the limits for each Flight Rule
