No default wind map when first starting iOS app

For some reason there is no default wind map starting on iOS, but it only appears when zooming in. The iOS app on both iPhone and iPad shows like this:

@auweatherwatcher Hi there, may I ask if you use any VPN on the device? Also what version of Windy do you use?
-
@Suty version 45.0.6. No VPN. It 'feels' more like a webkit on iOS rendering issue that it doesn't load the coloured layer initially but then 'picks' it up when zooming in a bit. This doesn't happen on the website using Safari. it's all good there.
-
@auweatherwatcher Did you check the website version on the same device?
-
@Suty Using Safari on iOS it loads up straight away.
on iOS it loads the coloured wind map when I tap on a favourite or the get location button at the top right. The coloured wind maps remain and refresh like normal when the app has been open, so it's not too bad. I did notice that the coloured map did show up for a moment on first start very briefly and then it disappeared. Ah then I put the iPad down it went to landscape orientation and it showed the coloured wind map. I got a screenshot here

@auweatherwatcher also this screenshot when I first open it. It seems to just not initially load a small section where I am may be

@auweatherwatcher Hi, we did some changes in this loading of map tiles and the update is released this week. Please try to update to version 45.1.3 to see if that helps.
-
@Suty thanks for that! I'll check out the newer version soon
-
@auweatherwatcher @Suty it's all working nicely with the new iOS version thanks again!
