For example, Cyclone Errol currently has a centre pressure of around 965hPa and is building towards a Category 4, yet it is shown on windy as just a low with a centre pressure of 1000hPa.</p>

From pressure lines? Those are from forecast, not from actual measurement. Additionally, different models give different pressure forecasts.</p>
