CHANGE LAYERS WITH GPX ROUTE

While viewing weather on my imported GPX route, I would like to be able to change layers while keeping the route on the map.

Today, we have first to exit our GPX route to be able to change the layer and than again import the GPX route.
And the again and again.

It would be much more convenient to be able to change the layer and to be able to change the altitude level of the layer, while keeping the route on the map.

I’m using an iPhone iOS 18.3.2
